Marius Went to Town

A new year has come so I thought it was time for a new character.

I rolled up a wizard, named Marius van Tasselwijk, who recently has finished his apprenticeship at the College of Navigation and Sea Magicks in Marienburg. After a rough childhood where he was forced to live on the streets making a living out of scratch and prostitution - Ranald's Luck suddenly one day came his way - A fat merchant had fallen asleep besides him and Marius was able to sneak away with his purse. The purse contained enough valuables to sponsor his apprenticeship at the College for 6 years where the young Marius studied the wonders of Air magick. Sadly his funds are running low and Marius is forced to earn some money if his studies are to continue - therefore the newly educated wizard left the safe college buildings in search of a job. The years of studying definitely had not increased his ability to communicate with the dock workers of Suiddock - so his first night of carousing ended with that he was being shaved balled by an angry dockworker - much to the joy of the other guests at "The Hanged Cat".

With a new seriously low self-confidence he was able to find a new job the next night - a charming fellow at "The Drunken Captain" heard about Marius' abilities and thought his boss - a guy with the ridiculous name Casanova - could use him. Marius was blindfolded and shipped to an island where he was led into a house with shutters before the windows. Here he was introduced to another wizard called Sibo. Sibo wanted help inventing some darts imbibed with Marius' lightning magick. After some talk Sibo and Marius agreed to meet at the "Brush 'n Gull" the next day.
